INVITATION TO BID (ITB) Subject: Supply and Installation of Livestock Manure Biogas Digesters for Household Cooking Dear Eligible Bidders, The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) hereby invites sealed technical and financial quotations from qualified individuals, firms, or teams for the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and after-sales support of eleven (11) household biogas digesters using livestock manure for cooking in the Oromia/Sheger and Wolaita Zones, Ethiopia. The selected supplier will be required to deliver complete, fully functional biogas systems including the digester, safe gas piping, pressure controls, water traps, modern efficient stoves, a bio-slurry composting pit, a biogas-powered chaff cutter (for the 12 m3 unit), comprehensive user training, and one year of after-sales service. Summary of Requirements Client: International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) Assignment: Supply, installation, commissioning, and training for household-scale livestock manure biogas digesters Quantity & Capacity: Ten (10) complete 8 m3 biogas digester systems (Wolaita Zone) and one (1) complete 12 m3 biogas digester system (Oromia/Sheger) Locations: Selected farms in Oromia, Sheger, and Wolaita Zone, Ethiopia (Final site list to be provided by ILRI) Bidder Eligibility: Individuals, firms, or teams with a qualified mason or technician holding a valid training certificate in the latest biogas model design, alongside a minimum of five (5) years of practical installation experience.
